Why Balanced Male Female Energy Is Important

This symbolism or concept of complementary opposites continues to present itself to me, making the significance and importance of the male/female energies evident. It is becoming very clear to me that these energies complement each other and depend upon the other for balance and creating a harmony that flows with the energetic flow of the universe. The more that I learn, the more in love I am with this magnificent duo! The fact that the male and female counterparts’ strength lies within their bond is so powerful and amazing, Divine and Godly. Apart, we are powerful, together we become a dynamic force!

In Western Philosophy, the concept of male female connectedness and complementary energy is found in the King James Bible, Genesis 2:21 -25, God takes one of Adams ribs and with it “made he a woman” and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, ‘This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man”. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

In Eastern Philosophy, the concept of pinyin, or yin yang as referred to in western society, literally means dark and light. It describes how polar opposites or contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent, giving rise to each other. Yes, exalting each other! This concepts of the interdependence of polar opposites lies at the origins of classical chinese science and philosophies; guides traditional chinese medicine and is the central principle for various chinese martial arts. I’m sure you’ve noticed and I realize that many of my posts are about relationships. It is because I realize that life is about relationships. We are all having “One Big Relationship” with each other. What you think and do, affects me and I, you. How about that?!

Well, I’ve been working through some thoughts and feelings about dating and it’s path to marriage. While many take a haphazard approach to dating, I believe dating is just as serious as planning your career. It is a part of your “family planning”. Yeah, although some front as if they are just having fun, yet, really and truly, everyone is looking for “that one” to catch their attention and capture their  hearts.  And if…through the process of dating, your goal is to meet your husband or wife,  “dating is a serious matter”. You may not acknowledge this fact, but ultimately you are in search of a “partner for life”. Even the playa-playa and the wanna be, act-like-a-man woman who sleeps around and uses her goods to get what she wants, is looking for love. Face it, love is at the core of our being. It is what we seek from others and it completes us. Unfortunately, we have to sort through the layers of mental and spiritual calluses to get to the soft inner being that is light and love. It’s ok though, because we have all been through something and the calluses protect; they are filters, padding and protection from pain.

Today, the most important question on the subject popped up in my mind, “Can I Submit Unto You”. Men love the concept of “submission”,  women tend to turn their noses up to it. But, I think that any woman who is able to go deeper than her thoughts and misconceptions about submitting, will find that she deeply wants to find someone who she can submit to.  She will want to submit…to the right person, because he will be worthy. THROUGH DARKNESS… INTO LIGHT

What helps a person hold on in a life or death situation, such as being stranded in a desert or on a boat floating in the middle of the ocean? I’m sure a part of them wants to die at some point, to escape the feelings of helplessness and desolation, solace and extreme fear. Maybe the only reason people survive is that a carnivorous animal wasn’t that hungry and the person just wasn’t willing to take his/her own life. So, they lived.

But, I know there are some survivors that will to live for reasons: a vision for their lives, to see their children grow up, to make love to their wife or husband again…  I don’t know, maybe sex is the last thing on your mind in these situations, but something kept them pushing and striving.  And I’ll bet you the things that kept survivors of near death experiences alive is the same things that gets everyone through the hard times in life. You know those dismal times in life, the times when you thought nothing could be worse with the exception of dying; the times when you felt it would be best to just disappear and never be seen again? Yeah…   Continue reading “THROUGH DARKNESS… INTO LIGHT”

HEALING… DIVINE BALANCE

Quite often when we think about or hear about the curing of an illness or maladaptive behavior, it is coupled with the idea of a fight. When a person dies of the disease, it is said that “they lost their battle with cancer” for example.  Was their battle really with cancer? Is it always a matter of fighting the enemy? Should it be a battle at all?

The battle seems to be with self. And while we may call it a battle, healing is really a matter of acceptance and balancing of the natural laws of existence that governs the whole of life. Discipline. Our quality of life is determined by whether we respect and live according to The Divine Laws set forth by the Creator.

Wounds and their effect, dysfunction, will be healed by getting back in line with the Divine. Our power is directly influenced by our alignment with the Divine, which governs every aspect of our lives from relationships to diet. Continue reading “HEALING… DIVINE BALANCE”

Last Night…

Last night I dreamed of a white wolf just like this one. I cannot remember what was communicated, but nevertheless, the encounter was profound enough for me to find out about what it means to have a wolf totem.

Totems are natural objects or animals believed to have spiritual significance to the person that encounters them either in person or in a dream, etc. The nature of the totem is to be your guide in how to go about your life. It has come to you to teach you the way by observing and understanding their way of life. This way, is known as their “medicine”. It is the knowledge and wisdom that they offer to help you along your path to realization. Continue reading “Last Night…”

Always Give Thanksgiving

“Give Thanksgiving” was advice given to me from beyond by my deceased grandfather, Luther Alexander.  It seemed odd to me when I first heard it.

It was in September 1996 that he died at the ripe old age of ninety-eight years old. He was tall and very handsome, a simple man from what I remember as a child. Although not very religious, he was very spiritual. He was a devoted member of the Masonic Order in Tifton, GA.  Continue reading “Always Give Thanksgiving”
